Binance Sees 11,730 BTC Retail Inflow as Mega-Whale Accumulation Indicator Swings by 70,837 BTC

On November 4, Bitcoin retail-sized inflows to Binance surged to 11,730 BTC, their highest level since February 5 and the second-highest daily reading of 2026. The figure was just 17.9% below February's peak of 14,290 BTC, marking an exceptional spike in smaller-investor deposits as Bitcoin traded near $80,400. Meanwhile, on-chain accumulation indicators revealed a sharp divergence between holder groups. Between October 31 and November 4, the 60-day net accumulation reading for wallets holding over 10,000 BTC swung from −38,877 BTC to +31,960 BTC, a positive shift of 70,837 BTC in just four days. In contrast, the 100–1,000 BTC cohort experienced a 63.9% decline in its 60-day net accumulation reading, falling from 67,930 BTC on November 1 to 24,500 BTC on November 4. Although this cohort remains in positive accumulation territory, the sharp slowdown contrasts with the reversal among the largest Bitcoin holders. Inflows associated with short-term or retail investors are often interpreted as signs of distribution or short-term capitulation, behavior that can also emerge during bull markets. Together, these readings suggest smaller investors may be reducing Bitcoin exposure, while wallets holding over 10,000 BTC have shifted back into net accumulation.
